They were still on strike these 3 women, Grete, Hilde and Marit, outside the kindergarden where they work.
Tomorrow morning they will be back at work, like lot's of other people working for the council. THE STRIKE IS OVER for them, but lots of other people are still on strike,-like the security people at the airports!!
They got a good result, and I guess that not only they are happy, but all of the parents who have struggled to cope with work and looking after their children who could not go to school etc.

Even the French news talked about the strike in Norway; not happening as often as in France! :-)

They should be paid a high salary as they do an important job.

I hope they all get what they deserve. What do they deserve?

Strikes have their good and bad aspects I agree Gunn, the consequences for parents are the hardest, they want the teachers to get more because the children are in their hands but they have to earn a living also, tricky situation, hopefully short term.

I do not see many problems around that can be fixed by strikes: the whole Europe is on the verge of bankruptcy and Norway is quite lucky (or wise) to be out of the Euro.

Luckily in such cases we have the grandmother who can take care of our son.

So far, not too many strikes over here ...
