Stavanger Yacht Club's members were out sailing near the harbor today.
Many had Father Christmas outfits on, and some of the kids had excited parents who joined the supporter team around the harbor.
A cold day, with a bit of snow in the air.
Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast. My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive. Welcome back for another look.

How cool to get all of that random yellow and red together in one photo!
I thought it looked like a Santa hat, maybe I will not need to get my eyesight tested. No snow here but it has been pretty cold here in Leeds the last few days.
I do love seeing those Father Christmas outfits. Very nice.
Love it! Great shot.
Must be cold to be on the water now, brave ones.
I like events like this one,but I prefer the summer period.
Those who have boats must sail them! They are a rugged lot! Love the strong colours of the buildings in the background highlighting the sails!
Those trips are really amazing, you don't run, you move like a fish on the sea. Cold photo and warm scene!!

Love this shot Gunn, the town in the background and the big vessel moored while the yachts sail around! Great composition.
Brave guys! Yesterday I saw people rowing in the harbor here, but I guess the weather is a bit colder up there...
