This is a statue named "Go`dagen" (Good Day) or as many in Stavanger have nicknamed her; "Kånå". ( The wife)
Anyway, it used to be at the market place, and was something of a landmark, but now it has been moved to a more hidden place.
She has a twin sister in Trondheim, (Norway`s 3rd biggest city ) who I saw just outside the tourist office.
The artist who made the statue is Tone Thiis Schetne.

She looks like a very 'down to earth' wife Gunn. Hope you have a good weekend.

How sad that she has been moved.

Love this one. I don't understand why people decide to move things. Art should be for the people to enjoy!

Very expressive work, it is sad that these sister don't see each other very much...

Sometimes well enough just can't be left alone. And I do not understand why. She's fabulous!
