We have many people who are very busy bagging in our streets. . . .
They are not Norwegian, but mainly from Bucharest.
I feel sorry for them, but I also wonder what the tourists think when they arrive and see them all over.
Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast. My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive. Welcome back for another look.

It is always a very sad sight no matter where they come from. There are a lot of them walking and living in the streets of DC. Sadly most of them are Americans.
I agree with Luis; it is a sad sight. Here we have a magazine called The Big Issue, which is produced for homeless people to sell and hence earn some income. It's a very good cause.
It is very sad. I wonder what the story is that they are there in the first place.
It is an organized business: nothing to do with poverty, more with defrauding people...
The sight is very sad but more and more those who abuse and play on peoples' sympathasies tend to make us wary of such people!
I have read stories that beggars make a very good living from their "work."
I simply do not know how those from afar can make judgements about this.
Same here, Gunn... The light in this shot is fantastic.
