This is my photo, - one of more than 3600 photos of flowers from all over Norway have been sent to a national newspaper. If you take a look at http://www.dagbladet.no/2011/07/28/nyheter/innenriks/terror/utoya/17485237/
you will see a picture of a rose that is made up from all of these individual photographs.
You can also zoom in to see the individual pictures.
The roses will be turned in to the soil, the cards will be collected at the state archive.
Not since king Olav died, back in 1991, has there been so many flowers, candles and cards.

Beautiful and moving post Gunn. Thank you.
What senseless loss of lives... my thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends...
It is such a beautiful image and a lovely remembrance of innocent lives. What a tragedy.
I wish i could have added my flowers also.

Outstanding remembrance, Gunn. I clicked on the newspaper's rose and went looking for yours. I didn't find it, but I am tremendously impressed by the creativity of the project and by the talent of all the participants. The emotion comes right through the internet to all of us.
Beautiful tribute Gunn, your picture is lovely and the image of the rose made up from all the images is so special. Lots of love coming from Australia.
Your lovely photo speaks volumes; a picture is truly worth a thousand words. Beautiful image to memorialize a tragic event.
A beautiful way to remember those who have left us. Thanks for sharing.

To Jack. The photo is in the "blue section", close to an image with " I morgen" written on a wall. My photo is just one, you can see more than 4000 photos from all over Norway.
It is a lovely remembrance, the photo in the paper is amazing, so many pictures.
Very moving and beautiful!
A beautiful photo to remember a sad, tragic event! I'm still heartbroken about Norway's loss of future leaders and future parents!
