Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast. My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive. Welcome back for another look.

I met a monk on Saturday, there was a big language barrier, but I think I manage to get his name in the end. He didn't have any socks like these guys, but he did carry a digital camera.
Still quite rare here...
It's hard to imagine they can feel warm enough wearing only their saffron robes. Always amazes me.
We don't see them here in Cincinnati at all, but I believe I have seen them in Washington, DC.
Those saffron robes are not the only things that distinguishing their appearance. Interesting photo of an interesting way of ife.
Nice colors, just hope they wont turn blue... Not many of them around here, but we came across 1.5 million young Catholics in Madrid this weekend, for the World Youth Day, many many of them in some kind of uniform, nuns, priests, scouts, the list is long.
