The school "SKEIE", looks like it has been decorated for Easter, but joking aside,- it is a colorful looking school for kids between the ages of 6-13.
Not much color at the schools I went to, so it is a sign that times have changed positively
Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast. My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive. Welcome back for another look.

Bright yellow is a happy color. They probably did some studies and decided that this would give the children good moods and receptivity to learning. (Or, there was a sale on yellow paint!)
My old elementary school was reddish brown, but my son's was a drab grey. I like the yellow one much more!
I think that the color is well-done and coordinates with the green lawn... I also think that Jack is pretty funny - hah!
I would give them an "A" for creativity and encouragement to the children!

I have never seen such a colorful school - but I think it's perfect!
And it's probably easier to find in the white of winter.
I'm sure kids love that colour. There were no bright colours in schools when I was a kid... :-)
Definitely a landmark the kids can't miss.
No doubt this was done for the purpose of giving the kids a boost as they came to school in the mornings. It sure beats the old, drab buildings of my youth!
