It is the crowd and busy activities that makes it interesting ...

All decked out in red and white - I love the patined green dome in the background - is that a cathederal? it's beautiful.

Love this image. There are some ports in Norway where we would tease that someone had to run out and put money in the parking meter because we were so close to town where we docked the ship.

So true...but it makes a dramatic photo...well done!

Ah fantastic! Love your angle, making the ship a house amongst buildings!

I checked this, it is a very interesting and advanced boat: Seven Havila.

Oh my goodness is that a cruise liner?

THANKS VP for the link. I actually drove into the city centre tonight to see if Havila 7 was still there, but it wasn`t.
I have done some research and found a long list of CRUISE SHIPS that will be arriving at the harbour THIS SUMMER, so to Mo in London, and everyone else who is interested, please take a look at http://www.stavanger.havn.no/postmann/dbase/bilder/Påmeldte_cruise_til_Stavanger_pr_09.02.2011.pdf. I promise to come back with more photos later.
