I felt so welcome when I entered "Godt Brød" at Eiganes, yesterday morning. (An ecological cafe and bakery.)
Karen who is a young Stavanger woman was busy working, but I got both coffee, something healthy and something not sooooo healthy, but very tasty. It is nice to have something good in a friendly , cosy, warm place with that wonderful smell of freshly baked products.

Well, if that is the same as "fastelavens boller" I can say YES.

Bakeries are such warm inviting places, especially on a cold morning ~ I love to linger there enjoying the smells and cosy ambiance. Lovely photo against the black background.

I can almost smell the wonderful scents of a bakery across the ocean . . .

What a cozy, yummy photo! My cousin just surprised me today by sending me a home baked loaf of Swedish rye bread! The recipe was a favorite one used by his "Mormor" and my "Mormor!" (Our mothers are sisters so the same grandmother)

I always love freshly baked breads. One of the best free things in life is the smell of it.

Not many things smell as good as fresh baked goods. Good picture. I'm hungry for some reason now ;-)
