Did you know that we have missionaries here in Stavanger??
Well these two young men, the one with the glasses came from Utah/USA and the other one from Canada, wanted to have a chat when I was in a rush to an appointment in the city centre.
I didn't have much time for them or the unique message that they wanted to share.
Anyway, I have not met many missionaries here.
I thought they mainly went to Africa.

Funny, we got them here too! They come mostly from Utah and have a nice temple in the suburbs of Livorno.

Could they speak Norwegian very well? Nice portrait even if you were in a rush!

I was very surprised, 10 years ago in London, to be visited by one of the Osmond brothers, think it was Donny, missioneering for the same group or church, whatever you might want to call it. I was not interested.

To Leif. They both spoke Norwegian very well. They will work as missionaries for 2 years they told me. I only had a quick chat , and also asked to take a photo, and that was ok as long as I wrote "important message" in the text. I later found out (via google) that they have a church in Stavanger.
So you see I learn something new from time to time:)

I think all Mormon young men do a two year missionary stint. They go everywhere. Consequently I have met many Fiji and Tonga converts here in Oakland where there is a large Mormon temple.

It is an interesting sect. As Oakland says, young Mormons are required to be missionaries for two years. I have not seen them in Connecticut; maybe they gave up on us, as heathens! Regrettably, the Jehovah Witnesses have not given up on Connecticut residents.

We have them here in Yorkshire too. I even got to meet a couple of girl Mormons here, not so common as the guys though. I have featured them a couple of times on the Leeds daily photo
