Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast. My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive. Welcome back for another look.

That's a gorgeous house. It looks so peaceful!
What a joy it must be to arrive in the evening, calling this home. Beautiful.
Please have a good Friday.

Very, very beautiful.
Wonderful house. You have no snow!
This could be a scene in the midwest! Sort of...
It is set high off the ground. I wonder why. Some houses in coastal areas in the USA are set high in case of storms. Maybe that is the explanation here, too.
Wish they were our friends or relatives.....
God helg og varma hilsen fra Hagen ganget
This is really a beautiful house.
Nice entrance with those big trees.
I like it too
nice pic, the trees frames the house.
If they are a big family it must be wonderful to live there. Winter colours are nice too.

It's is interesting to note that this is called a "villa." In our area, a villa is a smaller structure, sometimes attached to another. We live in a villa - which is actually a twin-home; two identical homes flipped.
To me this looks like a grand old house; very large, and very beautiful!
It is lovely. Must be a special family that lives there!
