People living in "Old Stavanger" have probably all discovered tourist who look straight in to their living rooms..... I just found it a bit strange....

You are right! That is very odd.
That would be strange, but I guess that must be one of the hidden costs of living there.
BTW, I have read a few novels by Asa Larsson, which I really enjoyed. My public library has a good collection of fiction.
