Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast. My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive. Welcome back for another look.

I like the scale given by the men in the foreground and the splashes of colour setting off the overall whiteness of the picture. Roll on the holidays, even if our "cruise" is only across the Channel.
Amazing photo. I agree with James it is wonderful to have the men in the image to get a sense of scale.
A familiar sight, the season here starts a little earlier, but this is the Mediterranean.
You do get some big cruise liners in your port. Nice shot.
The size of these cruise ships is difficult to comprehend.
Lots of cruise ships! Does the famous "mail boat" goes as far south as Stavanger?
To Leif.

Well, that is from BERGEN, but who knows it might start from Stavanger, but so fare BERGEN is the starting place.
One day I will take this fantastic trip!!:)
Wow ! this cruise ship is massive
They are big! My parents were just on one for an Alaskan cruise and the Norovirus went through the ship and got them sick. I heard that's common with those ships. I like the lines and curves in this photo.
That is one gigantic ship! I've never been on a cruise but I bet it'd be fun to be in one.
Hi Gunn,
Leif said me he write you all about me.
So that is a good idea...you know about my english.
Greetings from Berlin:-)
Nice pic, with the bold white shape over powering the two guys. Have a great summer, here in Mumbai we are glad that summer is over and the monsoons are here.
