Strawberries are finally growing here after the long and cold winter.
It is a sign of spring.
I look forward to eating the fresh and tasty strawberries.

The local strawberries taste a lot better than the imported varieties. Ours won't be ready until late June.

Strawberries are really "in" right now in Florida...in fact we've had strawberry shortcake for dessert two nights in a row...

Thank you for the link to the paper with the article on The Villages. I couldn't read it all, but got the gist of it! Fascinating. I've posted lots of similar pictures! Are they promoting The Villages in Stavanger?

I was wondering what these were. Strawberries don't grown in Manila, only in a few regions with cooler temperatures. I'm sure you'll be enjoying them soon enough. :)

Ah strawberries. We have them already but to me they taste of nothing much. Not long tho till they are the real thing.

I left a message on Menton saying if you can get to Menton in August/September I'll try and meet you off the bus or train. Drop me a line privately perhaps?
