Yesterday I showed you a photo of a brick house, today I will show you something different.
These houses are out on an island called Vassøy, just 15 minutes from the centre by ferry. 
I would recommend anyone visiting our city to take the ferry over, and go for a stroll and take a look for themselves. It is a very beautiful place and feels like being in the countryside.

To Leif I will say; yes, I guess the prices for houses like this are higher than the average house near the "oil capital" (which is a nickname for Stavanger, since many of the oil companies have offices here.)
Most people can not afford big houses like this.

Wow. Those are fabulous mansions! I can imagine that the property prices on this little island must be fantastic too.

I think I'm late, but welcome to the CDPB community! Based on your photos, Stavanger seems to be such a mixed, vibrant city! With a big city's problems too, unfortunately.
