This is a building with 144 flats, built in 1972.

It is a place where you have to have a membership in what we call "Borettslag", a cooperative building and housing association. Without the membership, you can not buy a flat. Many larger municipalities in Norway have these kinds of buildings. From here it is only 10 minutes by car or bus in to the centre of Stavanger.

Looks a bit boring, but we see a lot of these types of buildings in Sweden as well. But the building is probably very modern today and so living here is probably easy and a bit expensive.

It is unusual for me to see an apartment building as tall as this with open corridors. I've never heard of a 'cooperative building' either and it sounds interesting.

Lovely evening shot!

I'm not sure I'd like being that close to all of those other people.
