The cruise tourists arrived today.

Another cold sunny day.

Today we had a big cruise ship visiting Stavanger with British tourist who were on a 12 days trip up to Tromsø and Alta (North of Norway) before the last stop, Stavanger.

We noticed lots of the passengers out and about with their cameras.

This afternoon they left for Southampton, where they will arrive on Monday.

A sunny and cold winter weekend.

SUNNY DAY!

Today we have had a nice sunny day!
Cold, with only +2C.

Many people have left town, either to escape the rain and cold and therefore gone to Spain and other warm places. Those who don't feel any pain and cope ok with the snow, rain, cold and the dark days have perhaps gone to cottages up in the mountains.

Still some people left... but it is quiet, quiet at workplaces like here at Forus, an area where thousands of people work in different national and international offices.

It is also quiet on most roads and places away from the bigger shopping centres.

It is the time for EXTREME SALES and to change Christmas presents that did not turn out to be what was wanted.

I hope you too have some nice relaxed days.

Lighter days from now.

Today is the darkest and shortest winter day.
After today we will have longer periods of
daylight again and hopefully more sunshine too.

Cancer research.

WELL DONE to all the farmers who are supporting cancer research.

Last year with PINK plastic out on the fields ... breast cancer.
This year there are BLUE ones too. Awareness and research on prostate cancer.

Some of the money they pay for the plastic goes straight to the research!

Again, WELL DONE!

Sunshine today.

We had sunshine earlier today.
Lucky for all the people who were not working and able to enjoy it.
Keep warm and have a nice weekend!
This is a glimpse of one of several old wooden Sea Houses.
Now used for big events, like the October Festival etc.
