One amazing place to visit with kids is VITENFABRIKKEN, The Science Factory, in Sandnes.
A short trip by train, south of Stavanger to the city Sandnes.

Garden centre

Yesterday the Stavanger area had the highest temperature in Norway!

It was fantastic, and today it is going to be a sunny SUNday.

Gardening time.

This is an image taken at Hove Plantesalg, a populare garden centre, south of Stavanger, and a bit outside Sandnes.

They have a popular park with animals and birds, that is worth visiting. Most kids LOVE the place.

Kindergarten or Kindergarden ??

Many of the new kindergardens have some interesting architecture and colourful details.

Some might call it a Nursery, play school or pre-school. It depends on where you live.

(In Norwegian it is called BARNEHAGE, directly translated it is : children's garden.)

The Geo Park.

The Geo Park, is a popular place for kids and today also our dog.
It is situated just outside The Oil Museum, near the harbour.

The museum has become a nice place, and I strongly recommend visiting it together with children.

KONGEPARKEN

Not so much rain and wind today.
We were two adults and three kids who went to an amusement park, KONGEPARKEN, south of Stavanger today.
Lots of FUN.
The minus, was all the wasps! I have never ever seen so many anywhere on the planet.
It is not cheap going to Kongeparken, so I would recommend that anyone who plans to go.... to start early!

Science factory

An exciting place for children (and adults) to explore sciences is the science factory (Vitenfabrikken) in Sandnes.

Two girls ( Best friends) were out balancing on what looked to be quite difficult. But they managed!:)

It is still the school holidays, but today I had a look at these three famous “Billy Goats Gruff” in the schoolyard outside my old school.

Nice to see that times have changed, and that ART can be something well known and also something for children to have fun with.
