SMUGET a nightclub for 18 year olds (and older people) have struggled in 2016.
Not smart to let young people age 17 in and let them buy alcohol.
Well, the newspapers have been writing about the place, and I guess there will be lots of young people who will miss the place that are now CLOSED.

This years Tall Ships Races starts at Harlingen in The Netherlands.

Work in progress.

There are so many new buildings being built in our area.
Here you can see the progress with the Clarion Hotel Energy.
A few more months now, and then it will be ready to welcome staff and customers.

The message.

Tonight this car was parked next to our car, outside the food store.

It made me think about the old chap who was waiving a big poster with the text "Jesus is coming soon!
Perhaps he just gave up, or perhaps he was asked to stop doing it by the police or perhaps his children.
Very often he was seen near the motorway.

It is very seldom we see cars with signs /messages like this here in Stavanger.
Have you seen many?

Restoration work.

The Cathedral is undergoing some serious restoration work, so the front and the entrance in to the church is now covered up while the work is taking place.

So this is what it looked like tonight less than 1 hour ago.

It has been a hot and humid day in the Stavanger area.
Thunder and lightening, heavy showers too.
But it made it for a fantastic sky!

Utopia

There are more luxury yachts at the harbor than normal.
This is UTOPIA, a yacht made by De Voogt Naval Architects and built at Feadship in the Netherlands back in 2004.



















For a week you can rent it for 3 million Norwegian kroner, according to todays issue of Stavanger Aftenblad.
