The TROLL PENIS Rock.

I had never heard about the TROLL PENIS rock, until the paper wrote about it after someone somehow managed to get it down! Even international papers wrote about TROLLPIKKEN as it is also named.
Now when it is back on, more and more people are taking the walk up in the mountains to see it, and perhaps to have their photo taken when they are climbing on it.


If you are in the area, head south of Stavanger, and it is close to Egersund.
I recommend good waterproofed shoes, and to start early.
Nice walk when the wheater is good.

Tourists from Wales.

Yesterday, Gabrielle (on the left), and Ann-Marie, were lucky with the weather.
They had a nice walk up the mountain to the famous PULPIT ROCK.

Plenty of rain today, but that did not stop them from having a look around the city.

I asked were they were staying, and they told me about the hotel at the hospital!
To me that sounds a bit strange, but they are not the first tourist to tell me about it.

What I found amusing was that they had had breakfast with 11 new born babies,
and their mums:)

They found Norway very expensive,
and told me about the cost of a taxi ride from the airport to the hotel!!

I can assure everyone that most of us here think that taking a taxi is very expensive!

There are trolls in so many different sizes and price classes.

This one is made of concrete so I guess there are not so many tourists who would buy it, but a smiley face is always welcome.

Here you can see a little girl - troll, - outside the shop "Bernina".

She must have been photographed hundreds if not thousands of times.

Of course we have TROLLS in Norway.
