Strømvik Bad.

All the smoke that drifted slowly over parts of Stavanger today was from this controlled fire.
Next year the old building would have been 100 years old!!
Originally a public baths, STRØMVIK BAD.
The council made the decision, and this old building ended up as a training exercise for the local fire brigade. The decision to destroy this old building has been very controversial and sparked some very heated arguments.

Windows.

Some people have better views than others.

I always look at doors and windows, and if you follow my blog, you will find more after "labels."

Farmland.

I have told you that we still have some farmland here in the region of Stavanger.
This image is taken very close to the University area, and the Botanical Garden.
It is only 10-15 minutes by car in to the city centre.
I guess most students do not have a view similar to this:)

Sports Day.

The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate had their sports day today.
They were good and had fun!

The tunnel at Auglend.

Yesterday afternoon there was yet another accident in the tunnel at Auglend.
Many people were stuck in a queue for quite some time!
A trailer collided with the tunnel roof.
This image is taken late in the evening, when they were fixing the damage.
Luckily there was no severe damage to people or cars.

Tourists arriving.

Some mornings I see the tourists arriving .
I hope they will enjoy our city.
