Outside the pub CARDINAL

Perhaps the pub sign is new, or maybe it is just me looking UP and seeing things differently?
One thing is for sure; this is a pub that has a very good range of different types of beer.
Stavanger wants to be known for the good choices of beers, festivals and events.
But Trondheim city (further north) wants the same, so I guess there is some sort of competition going on.

The English Queen has been here.

Seen on the floor at the airport.
I don´t know if she ever came back to our city, but I guess she has been busy and travelling more places than most of us will ever do.

A clear message.

This is a clear message to all of us who understand the dialect here in Stavanger.
Simply translated; it tells you: If you park here, it is just walking distances to everything that you need.

Drive carefully.

Well done, to the person who came up with the idea to paint the boring parking area, and to add a warning written in dialect, saying that we have to be aware of all the cars so we don't bang in to them.
Too many car parks looks so depressing and dark, so this is a nice change.
