The Norwegian Fjord Horse.

The ( Norwegian ) Fjord Horse is a relatively small but very strong horse breed from the mountainous areas here in the western part of Norway.

It is the time of year when lots of couples get married.

An Abbey about 40 min.drive north of Stavanger.
A place well worth visiting.
I liked the stylish way they had decorated the chapel.

UTSTEIN KLOSTER,- the Abbey was built around 1260 and had Augustine monks there before the Reformation.

Today it is a museum, a popular place to get married and a place used for concerts as well as conferences.

Stavanger seen from Rennesøy, an island about 30 min.drive from the city centre in Stavanger. Rennesøy is also another neighboring council.

The tower at the back is Ullandhaug.
