Marina Abramovic

The well known Serbian performance artist Marina Abramovic is now represented at the Contemporary Art Projects at the BGE.

A unique artist
with unique portraits.

The gallery has a very nice architecture and is situated next to the Catholic Church.
It looked like it was a popular place to visit on a Sunday.
Nice to meet people who are eager to tell about the art and the artist too.

Stavange has got a wonderful place for Contemporary Art.

It is situated next to the Catholic Church at Kannik, and has not only great art, but also great architecture.
They also have a good collection of Art Books for sale.
New exhibition coming soon.

I will promise to post some art next time.
You might have been visiting it before the new building, when it was at Tollboden ?

If you are in Stavanger and hurry up, you will have the chance to go and see the exhibition at BGE Contemporary Art Projects in this old building before the end of this week.
After the summer the gallery will open in a new building close to the roundabout at Kannik.
