Do you know what it is?
Do you know what it is?
Have a guess.
THE DAY AFTER:
Hei Many of you had really good answers to what this food was. It is "lapper", a type of a thick and small pancake with "Brunost" or "Brown cheese" on the top.
More info here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brunost
Next time you buy cheese you might find/try some at your shop.
Looks like some kind of little pancake with - I don't know what on top...somekind of cheese perhaps?

Wow whats that?
ReplyDeleteI am not sure, but it look delicious at 9am of a cold January morning...
ReplyDeleteI would eat it. It looks like our Salami meat looks.
ReplyDeleteI think I would agree with Jennyfreckles ... it looks like a pancake of some kind with a type of cheese.
ReplyDeleteLeif gave it away. Google takes all the fun out of guessing games!
ReplyDeleteToo thick for lefse and looks good!
ReplyDeleteI can make out the pancake, but would also have to guess a smoked cheese of some kind on top. Is there a little bit of sausage poking out on the top, or is it just more pancake? Either way, I am game for a taste. : )
ReplyDeleteKelly
I don't think I would have thought to pair pancake and cheese, but I just may have to try it now:)
ReplyDeleteNot sure if we'll be able to find norwegian cheese here, but we'll definitely try it with catalan cheese!
