At 14.00 this afternoon many sporty people, young and old, were out in the cold windy weather running the Sola Beach Marathon.
Actually it was a route passing the beach 3 times, or in other words 21,1 km. (Half marathon) That is what I call IMPRESSIVE !!:-)
Keeps you warm, I guess!
ReplyDeleteI could get round that table three times - on a good day!
ReplyDeleteMust be tough on the lung! So, yes very impressive.
ReplyDeleteI almost can feel the moves there. Great outdoor picture!
ReplyDeleteA marathon in the middle of winter! That's impressive.
ReplyDeleteAnyone who runs a marathon is impressive. In winter I think even more so!
ReplyDeleteAfter a few kilometers, they must not have been cold at all. I might still be able to do that. I love exercising!
ReplyDeleteIt would be nice for those who can make it. I couldn't.
ReplyDeleteWow, they must be dedicated runners!
ReplyDeleteI loved learning more about Norway through your photos and the commentary. The comments bring alive the great photos. I like the painting on the wall of the electric co. building!

Marathon? With this weather? They can't be human...
ReplyDeleteGood grief! Lois Anne has run two full Marathons and a number of half-marathons. Interestingly, the worst was the Disney Marathon in Orlando, Florida, a few years ago...it was in the low 30s (F) when it started. I had to wait in the car it was so cold!
ReplyDeleteRunners are nuts!
Can't imagine running in the snow and cold.
That takes a lot of courage!!!
