Cloudberries.

Cloudberries brought back home tonight after a mountain trip earlier today.

We call them "molter" and they are just delicious!
With yoghurt or with cream..... Yummy!

So where have all the people gone??
Sometimes busy at the airport, sometimes not.

Yes, I did do a bit of shopping.
And one day I hope to show you some images of the artist at work.
I bought them at "Gladmat", the Food Festival.

We have had the "Gastronomic Institute" here in Stavanger since 1988, and of course they were represented at the food festival.


The institute is well known both nationally and internationally.

I bought a sample of their nice looking and very tasty food.

It was just delicious!

Yesterday there were also speeches by the major, Christine Sagen Helgø, to the right, and people who were involved in arranging the festival. From the left: Mona Vervik, Anita Løyning and Gaute Birkeli who represented the jury. Even the food and agriculture minister came to the opening.

The chef, "Ryfylkekokken" Frode Selvaag who received "Matkulturprisen", a prize for everything that he has been doing with food and culture in the region. 

(He has also been a chef at the Norwegian Embassy in Washington DC.)
