Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast.
My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive.
Welcome back for another look.

Working life.
She works as an archaeologist for the county council.
Before new building sites can be built on, she and other people are checking out the ground for really OLD stuff.
That's a great idea before all our past gets built over...
ReplyDeleteShe'd find plenty to investigate here.
ReplyDeleteThere are similar positions here for when new projects get underway.
ReplyDeleteI think if I was going to do it all over again, I'd be interested in this kind of work - anything archaeological.
ReplyDeleteNice portrait, Gunn! And it's good she's so colorful so she can be seen easily.
Is it normal, that there are checking the ground before new buildings - always?
ReplyDeleteYou really have an underground history.
The girl is pretty.
That could be an exciting job. Imagine what surprises you could uncover! Nice portrait of someone who looks like she enjoys her job.
ReplyDeleteCool! The best job! Wishing her many good surprises.
ReplyDeleteI always think of archaeologists as old men with beards and funny hats.
ReplyDeleteA refreshing reminder that stereotypes are often incorrect!
Too many films :)
But it is good that people try to make sure that they preserve their history instead of blindly building on sites.
