Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast.
My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive.
Welcome back for another look.

Storm on it`s way today?
Well, it was very windy, as you can see here from the area near the fish market.
And I'll bet the wind made it quite cold blowing in off the water! I don't like wind. We've had a lot of it here lately, too. But, fortunately, the weather has been warm.
The storm doesn't bother the gull. The waterfront is nice.
ReplyDeleteStilig, flott fanget av bølgene og jernmannen
ReplyDeleteHave they named it yet?
ReplyDeleteGulls don't seem to be bothered much about the wind and storms, do they?

ReplyDeleteLovely photo, Gunn!
Yikes, looks very cold. I hope all is well. Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteLooks like the gull is wanting to get splashed.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I have images of the same row of buildings, but from the deck of a ship docked to the left of your image. Ah, memories. :) Love you photo!
ReplyDeleteHe must be a TV reporter...hard work! ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fine view from here.
ReplyDeleteThe waterfront buildings are so lovely! Hope the storm doesn't hit you hard. Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully composed image, I like the little bird waiting for the ships to come in. Happy New Year Gunn.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteLooking very grey and threatening. A good day to be on land rather than sea.
ReplyDeleteWhen it is like this inside the harbor I can imagine what is raging outside...
