Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast.
My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive.
Welcome back for another look.
Excellent photo, Gunn. The angled roofs look like they are marching, the colors add interest, the worker in his yellow vest adds a focal point, and the spray adds softness to contrast with the hard angles of the buildings. Great composition!
Surely a challenge for many cities being able to provide clean pavement, with restaurants and tourist attractions near by. Yet peaceful a sight. Please have a good Wednesday.

Good photo and nice location!
ReplyDeleteI love this photo and the view of "traditional, historic" Stavanger! We'll have to include Stavanger on our next trip to Norway!
ReplyDeleteSo nice, Gunn. I think early morning is one of the best times to take pictures...unless, of course, it's 20 below zero!
ReplyDeleteReally good photo, love it!
