Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast.
My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive.
Welcome back for another look.
This is one of the strangest things I've ever seen! That's got to be a hotel, right? Who would ever do such a thing. The noise from the traffic must be horrendous.
How absolutely extraordinary. The vibrations must be very strong and goodness, the stability of the building but I suppose they know what they are doing. What a shot. Aside from the weirdness of it, it's such a lovely mysterious photo with lovely soft colours.
This excellent shot reminds me of the kilometres and kilometres and kilometres of tunnels I drove through.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and fantastic shot !!
ReplyDeleteWow.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny to see a house/building on top of the tunnel! They must have used some strong Norwegian steel to build the tunnel!

ReplyDeleteGreat shot. Love night shots.

ReplyDeleteI'm assuming they built the building on top after they made the tunnel, right? I wonder what they were thinking!
ReplyDeleteIt's a striking image - well done!
This is a strange and spectacular building, just on top of that tunnel. I hope they are able to sleep through the noise...
ReplyDeleteNice night shot.
