The first of every month, the City - daily - photo - community have a theme photo, with images from all over the world. Take a look here
My choice is from a part of town with colourful houses.
The yellow house, used to have a wonderful shop selling ballet stuff....
The window decorations were fabulous!
It is sad that small businesses can't make it!
Even "Sjokoladepiken" is in trouble!
Still a fascinating colourful road, mainly for bars and coffee places now.
I hope there will be more LIFE in the narrow streets, in the months to come.
Like I see in Bergen, still alive is only the few streets in the city, around Torget. The rest falling down. It is sad.New Year`s Greetings from Bergen
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a nice old neighbourhood. I like the colorful houses. Hopefully someone will open another store there in the future.

I hope something good will happen soon: it looks too good a place to be 'abandoned'...
ReplyDeleteIt's such a lovely corner! Happy 2015, Gunn.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful street scene!
ReplyDeleteA very Happy New Year, Gunn!
I love this. You'd love Boca Raton, Florida where almost everything is painted in pastels. Lots of pinks!
ReplyDeleteInteresting and charming places you show when it is uninteresting weather :)
