Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast.
My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive.
Welcome back for another look.

Storm on it´s way?
There was only ONE stand at the market place yesterday.
Strange, but perhaps it has to do with the weather?
We have had temperatures reaching the low 60s today, a record high, accompanied by a major storm that blew me and my camera almost over the edge of a pond.
Our farmer's market has winter quarters inside, so the vendors will come out regardless. That's definitely not ideal conditions for being outside for the farmers.
Places where I lived always had their markets indoors for the winter so weather wasn't a problem unless their was a storm happening. Hope it went well for the vendor.
Tough day to bring produce to market.
ReplyDeleteThat would be my guess. Doesn't look like outdoor market weather to me.
ReplyDeleteI won't enjoy shopping there ...
ReplyDeletehave a nice week end! hope with better weather..
It happens also here when it rains...
ReplyDeleteYucky weather and definitely not a good day for market.
ReplyDeleteStill plenty of fresh groceries! ;-)

ReplyDeleteAll these folks must be very hearty. Hope it was worth it to every one to be out in this weather.
