Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast.
My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive.
Welcome back for another look.

Harbour neighbours.
Some of the people living near the harbour have a great view!
Behind the Supply vessel, STRIL MERMAID, you can see the small white wooden houses,
in the area called "Old Stavanger."
Further back there are modern flats and offices.
Interesting video of this hull's launching:

MANY THANKS to REVRUNNER, for the YOU TUBE link, and for useful information.
ReplyDeleteYou know how much I like boats and ships...
ReplyDeleteThe white houses looks lovely, but the big ship is ofcourse front them :)
ReplyDeleteA peaceful shot.
ReplyDeleteI could live in one of those houses seeing as how I love water and boats. The only problem would be the cold weather! :)
ReplyDeleteThe houses give a good idea of how huge the vessel is, love this shot!
ReplyDeleteWaterfront life! Nice photo

Quite a vessel!
ReplyDeleteI would FAR prefer the waterfront wooden buildings to the high-rise buildings behind them.
