Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast.
My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive.
Welcome back for another look.

A house on the move.
Looks like a very old house that will soon be moved and
be rebuilt somewhere else.
I've seen some homes being moved when I was young and they just hauled it in one piece with a truck down the road early in the morning when there was no traffic.
Oh cool! All numbered and ready to go.
ReplyDeleteThey do that with old stone buildings in Jerusalem. But I have never seen it done with WOOD!
Definitely worth saving.
ReplyDeleteBetter hurry. Falling down soon in a neighborhood near you.
ReplyDeleteI love that they seem to be going to rebuild instead of destroy.. it looks a little sad sitting there between it's two modern neighbours :)
ReplyDeleteWow! That looks like it will be a project.
ReplyDeleteGood idea to rebuild it !

ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting idea, Keep well Diane
ReplyDeleteI've seen old houses lifted off the foundations for a new foundation to be built, but not one moved in such a fashion.
ReplyDeleteI love the alleys
ReplyDelete:)
Really nice shot.
ReplyDeleteReally? It is a small and simple building. I am surprised that someone is spending the money.
