Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast.
My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive.
Welcome back for another look.

Sunburn.
Even Anthony Gormley's sculptures are showing signs of sunburn..
Still very HOT
here in Stavanger.
The statue does look like it should get out of the sun for a while. It was 88 degrees F (31 C) in Hartford today, and that is fairly common for this time of year.
This looks like a work of art (not the sculpture, but your photo)... then angles, the reflections, the shadows, the textures, and not the least: the perspective. What a great still life!
The sculpture could use sunscreen!
ReplyDeleteProbably a little hot to the touch, too.
ReplyDeleteStay cool!

ReplyDeleteI really like how you composed this shot, capturing the shadow.
