Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast.
My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive.
Welcome back for another look.

Boat houses.
I hope you have a nice Valentine's Day and a nice weekend.
This is an image from a walk near the Gandsfjord at an area named Hinna.
It's lovely to stroll by water. Hope the weather was nice for a walk!
ReplyDeleteAn excellent capture!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like something from a Henning Mankell novel. I know that he writes about Sweden, not Norway, but this would fit.
ReplyDeleteI like the way the so to see normal roofs are lying on the natural stone walls. A kind of architecture without architects. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteNice 'houses' for the boats. Ours are usually homeless!
ReplyDeleteThis pair of vernacular buildings create a certain feeling of serenity along the shore. The stone work is marvelous. Nice composition -- barbara
