Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast.
My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive.
Welcome back for another look.

BOKLAGERET
Small businesses are really struggling these days....
This bookshop is selling out their books with prices next to nothing.
And they will probably leave Stavanger before the end of the year.
We were at out local bookshop last night for their Christmas 10% off night. However, I admit to buying most of my books through Amazon for the Kindle - yes, I feel guilty.
Sad world we live in!
ReplyDeleteYour photo is superb, though. Touches of Edward Hopper's colors in Nighthawks. Beautiful! :-)
ReplyDeleteYou are right.... I had to look it up and than I saw your point.
Thanks Merisi.
That is so sad, the same thing happens here too. A bookshop is so important.

ReplyDeleteThere are a small number of them left in DC.
ReplyDeleteEvery time an independent book shop here goes under, one feels the hurt of it.
ReplyDeleteYour photo has a great abstract touch. It is very sad to see these little bookshops struggle so.
ReplyDeleteGood luck to all bookstores that are independent- nice photo too!
