Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast.
My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive.
Welcome back for another look.

Stavanger Yacht Club's members were out sailing near the harbor today.
Many had Father Christmas outfits on, and some of the kids had excited parents who joined the supporter team around the harbor.
I thought it looked like a Santa hat, maybe I will not need to get my eyesight tested. No snow here but it has been pretty cold here in Leeds the last few days.
How cool to get all of that random yellow and red together in one photo!

ReplyDeleteI do love seeing those Father Christmas outfits. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteLove it! Great shot.
ReplyDeleteMust be cold to be on the water now, brave ones.
ReplyDeleteI like events like this one,but I prefer the summer period.
ReplyDeleteThose who have boats must sail them! They are a rugged lot! Love the strong colours of the buildings in the background highlighting the sails!
ReplyDeleteThose trips are really amazing, you don't run, you move like a fish on the sea. Cold photo and warm scene!!

Love this shot Gunn, the town in the background and the big vessel moored while the yachts sail around! Great composition.
ReplyDeleteBrave guys! Yesterday I saw people rowing in the harbor here, but I guess the weather is a bit colder up there...
