Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast.
My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive.
Welcome back for another look.
My favourite portuguese street artist, Alexandre Farto aka Vhils, has done some works in your city: http://www.streetartnews.net/2011/10/vhils-new-murals-in-stavanger-norway.html There are more but I can't find them on the net. Have you heard of him, Gunn?
I love this photo... as a graphic designer I am always attracted to lines, patterns and repetition. Great work.
Thanks for the kind words you left at AntiguaDailyPhoto.com, I prepared a post for you about the good weather we're having in Antigua Guatemala right now. It will be up at midnight.
Great photo- almost abstract art.
ReplyDeleteThe tree looks like a hand, waving goodbye to someone who has disappeared up the stairway. Wonderful photo.
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat image of the stairway!
ReplyDelete«Louis» thanks you for your visit to San Francisco Bay Daily Photo.
Love the contrast between natural and man-made, fantastic.
ReplyDeleteAnd it's a lovely b&w composition.

Saludos cordiales,

This is absolutely superb. I'd frame and hang it in a minute. Actually, it's worthy of an art gallery! Stunning in its simplicity and starkness!
ReplyDeleteNice work Gunn.
ReplyDeleteFog days, perfect for b and w! Or pastel, could do some really romantic pictures.
