Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast.
My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive.
Welcome back for another look.

Some of the ships taking part in the "The Tall Ships Races" have arrived in Stavanger and are here for a few days before setting off on the next leg of the race.
I like to look up there, and marvel at all the knots and the loops but - I could not in my wildest dreams picture me actually being up there. Glad someone else has the courage to do it though!
Looks like the guy at the top is talking on the phone!
ReplyDeleteI'm not so excited about being up on tall, tall heights! Better them than me!

I am very impressed by the people who are willing to climb to those dizzying heights. Great photo.

ReplyDeleteNice photo Gunn! The tall ships were here in St Pete FL several years ago and they were so much fun to tour and take photos of.
