Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast.
My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive.
Welcome back for another look.
So glad that you added that it was mostly gone by now... This is a beautiful photograph with the near-monochrome look save the dark of the one building... very nice.
Oh my goodness! What a beautiful wintry shot! Perhaps if the snow has melted spring can't be far behind... ?

It makes shiver just to look at it - at least it doesn't stick for long now - I've just done a post about Stavanger on Ackworth born, gone West.
ReplyDeleteSome lovely villas! Our snow is melting this week and the newscasters are predicting record flooding on its way....
ReplyDeleteYay for melting snow!!!
ReplyDeleteWhite Idyll! I hope the end of winter is near.
ReplyDeleteGreetings:)
It is a back-and-forth time of the year in many climes. Winter today, spring tomorrow and back to winter the day after.
ReplyDeleteVilket intressant hus i sin arkitektur!
ReplyDeleteHär blommar Vintergäcken nu :)

I like the peace that this image inspire...
ReplyDeleteGosh, it still looks very cold there. I am enjoying the scarf very much. I show it to everyone who comes around. Thanks again.
ReplyDeleteLovely houses and shot but I'm glad to know the snow has melted, it means spring is on the way to you too. :-)
