Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast.
My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive.
Welcome back for another look.

This is a well known landmark at " Torget/ the marked place" where you can buy food like hot dogs, hamburgers etc. in the evenings at the weekends.
In Los Angeles, street vendors sell hot dogs wrapped in bacon with heaps of grilled oinions. They're probably the most unhealthy food you can find but they're also very popular and make the streets smell fantastic.
Truck cuisine is big here. It's not all hot dogs and tacos. We have two or three that specialize in cupcakes. One guy does only creme brulee, another does curry dishes, The variety is growing and Twitter is used to let customers know where they are parked on any given day.
That is a cool hamburger bus.
ReplyDeleteThat is really a neat looking vehicle to buy sandwiches.
ReplyDeleteI remember places like this when I was in college. Haven't seen one since then.
ReplyDeleteI always love a great hot dog purchased from a moving vehicle....

Hei Gunn! That's a wonderful vintage bus! It even seems to be in good condition! Do they see any lefse or meatballs there too?
