Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast.
My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive.
Welcome back for another look.

Afternoon at Engøy, part of Stavanger, and one of several islands just 5 minutes by car over a big bridge and through a tunnel to the city centre. To me it looks like an idyllic place to live.
Idyllic is right! Love the buildings and the water is like glass which makes for fantastic reflections. You composed this very well. It's a wonderful photograph!
What a beautiful composition! The place looks lovely and the cloud reflections are also beautiful.
As to the strike it went well, very peacefully. Of course it always cause problems on people, such as cancelled flights (around 550) and so on, but that's just the way things are...
What a gorgeous place. Beautiful image.

ReplyDeleteIt's a magical photo with the wonderful reflections on the water! I regret that we didn't get to Stavanger this summer!

ReplyDeleteThe reflections of the striped clouds in the water are just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteBut the houses cost a lot, I'm sure ;-)
