Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast.
My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive.
Welcome back for another look.

Still a few trolls left, but many of them have been bought by tourists from all over the world....
Tourists buy the weirdest things!
ReplyDeleteFunny creatures, I would buy one.
ReplyDeleteDelightful!
ReplyDeleteThis is a creepy shot... sort of uncomfortable. Ha!
ReplyDeleteTourists, or 'fudgies" as we call them here, will buy anything.
ReplyDeleteThere is at least one non-norwegian intruder, as I recognize very clearly the french president, Mr Sarkozy, the dark one in front..
ReplyDeleteI might buy one if I had a bridge to put him under!
ReplyDeleteI met a cartoonist in Norway back in the 60s when I was a boy who drew me a superb troll; I think he was called Arne Taraldsen
ReplyDeleteDid didn't buy a troll but I did take a photo of each of our girls standing by one at Holmenkollen!
