Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast.
My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive.
Welcome back for another look.

Here is a photo over "Haugtussa" an area of houses built back in 1976.
If you enlarge the photo you can see the big bridge down in the centre of our city.
Some lucky people have a fantastic view from this part of Stavanger!
I'm curious. How is this development doing now? Is it still a desirable place to live or has it become unfashionable? Are there other developments like it?
I guess it is well kept, and I have been inside two of the houses. Both nice and with nice (sunny) gardens. But there are newer, bigger and more modern places that are perhaps more interesting these days. This is only 10-15 min. drive away from the centre of the city, close to the University and park land areas.

Looks a bit sterile I think.
ReplyDeleteYes, I can see it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful town you have!
It looks like a fine place to live. I'm glad it is well kept, near to some parks and in easy reach of the city center.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a very well-planned community. It looks so neat and orderly!
