Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast.
My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive.
Welcome back for another look.

Do take a look in to the fish market when and if you are in Stavanger. Buy a plate of some tasty food.
On a sunny day sit outside and just watch life around the busy harbour:)
We get almost no fresh fish where I live, so that would be quite a treat. From his look of concentration I'd guess that's going to be a very well-cleaned fish.
Okay, if we're ever in Stavanger, we'll head to the harbor and check out the fish market.
ReplyDeleteThis is a nice portrait, Gunn, of a hard-working man.
I think I can smell the fish? Maybe not. ;-)
A plate of fresh cooked fish, aquavit and a harbor view - ahhhh!

ReplyDeleteNo problem. I loved the fish when I was there.
ReplyDeleteThe real problem is, how long will there be fish to fish?

ReplyDeleteJust ignore the smell.
ReplyDeleteFish markets are great fun, and this is an excellent shot of a skilled tradesman. When is dinner?
ReplyDeleteA very good portrait. It is always interesting to watch people at work.
ReplyDeleteSome salmon would be nice.
