Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast.
My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive.
Welcome back for another look.

This is one of the many popular statues ( or perhaps I should have used the word sculpture ? )
in Stavanger. I will have to come back to you on who the artist is, and when it was made.

For some reason, I keep seing sheep posts these days. Looks like a good bronze, and the sculptor is really good.

ReplyDeleteI am not sure about the above comment! A nice sculpture, I have seen something alike in Hamburg, don't know if the hand is the same though.
ReplyDeleteWonder if the sculptor's subjects were good at posing for him/her?
ReplyDeleteHa, good one Linda!
