It is Sunday and I have not been to church, nor has the sky been bright blue.
I just wanted to show you the St. Petri church in the centre of the city.
A photo taken some weeks back.
Sankt Petri was built in 1864-1866. The last time it was redecorated was in 2004-2008
I have been to some nice concerts there. One day I hope the door will be open so I can show you some beautiful details from inside.
Church looks like its on its way downwards!
ReplyDeleteIt is quite beautiful. Too bad it's falling sideways! ;-) Actually, I think this is a nice composition as it forces one to look more closely!
ReplyDeleteLove the colours in this picture.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous capture. The colors are stunning and compliment each other perfectly.
ReplyDeleteI envy you to have such big, old, marvelous churches in your city! I'm waiting for a look inside...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and lovely shot !!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful church, I'd like to see inside of it.
ReplyDeleteI like the church, the colors are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLovely contrast.
ReplyDeleteThe sky nicely offsets the brilliant orange brick. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful view in any case!
ReplyDeleteinteresting structure and the 3colors just mesh well together.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Photo...nice sky!
ReplyDeleteGreetings:-)
I really like this photo. . .
ReplyDeleteVery cool composition and great colours too!
ReplyDeleteThe colors are wonderful, and the shape of the steeple makes me think that some of the churches in my town of Astoria, Oregon, were built on a Scandinavian design.
