Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast.
My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive.
Welcome back for another look.

Another example of "new and old" architecture in Stavanger.
What a great contrast - I'm drawn to the "old" - the biker adds a homey feeling too.
ReplyDeleteExcellent image. Love the composition.
ReplyDeleteA nice collage of old and new! I prefer the "old" architecture of gammal Stavanger!
ReplyDeleteSka du vare i Oslo den 17. augusti? Da kan vi kanske traffas og ta en kup kaffee eller lunch tilsammens!
I like the new 'sprouting' amidst the old house. Different styles, different colors.
ReplyDeleteQuite an interesting shot! Well composed - I like the biker, too. And the contrasts are intriguing.
ReplyDeleteWonderful perspective and great contrasts!
ReplyDeleteNew and old are totally OK with me ;-)
ReplyDeleteI think this is fantastic--such a mix of old and new. I desperately want to walk along that cobbled roadway because I am totally intrigued!
ReplyDeleteI like the mix of new and old.

And it really is a good one. Extra bonus for the cyclist.
